June birds are sing lots of plants in full bloom, pots starting to look just how you imaged them, ahh, lovely, but hold on the grass needs mowing and the perennials need staking, its funny the longer you sit to enjoy your garden the more you see needs doing, but stop take some time out with cup of tea or your favourite glass of wine, sit back and take time to see what’s working in the garden, it may be the lovely way two plants are working well together , or just seeing a flower opening on a new plant for the first time, and you can then think whether you may need more of these flowers in your garden, and if they could work in other parts of the garden, we have just had some rain only a little but all is good for the garden, its amazing how plants can look so much better for a little rain, more upright, and don’t they suddenly but on a growth spurt ,it can be around this time you know if you have over fill your pots and borders with every plant vying for room with it bed fellows,

Plants looking good this month are

 Alchemilla mollis

Ajuga reptans 'Catlin's Giant'

 Anthemis tinctoria 'E.C. Buxton'

Cephalaria gigantea

Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae
