Summer is now here, the lawns are growing like mad, and so is every thing else in the garden, its hard to know what to do first , there is still time to sow some of the Annuals, they can catch up very fast at this time of year ,but if not you may get a prolonged flowering time as the later sown plants take over flowering from any batch you planted earlier in the year, also it is now time to start hardening off those earlier sown seedlings and cuttings ,this mean slowly bringing the plants out on warm days ,
for short periods, lengthening the time you leave them out each day if the weather is ok and not to cold, I know its only just summer but think about the colour you could inject in to the garden at other times of year ,as the nurseries ad garden centre are chocker full of plants, and there might just be the right plant there ,to add some colour later when you wish you still had a bit more in your garden , we have been having some warm autumns and with the right plant you could have colour in the garden for a lot longer.
Plants looking great now
